About the Gallery
At the 10th birthday opening David announced that after 10 years he would like to see a change of direction for the gallery/studio spaces. He is open for suggestions for future usage.

So the 10th birthday exhibition was an appropriate swan song for the gallery in it's present form.
The gallery has contributed so much to artists and the community. Over the 10 years it has supported Arts for Health for 6 years and the David Lloyd Youth Art award for 4 years, hundreds in community groups, presented approx 70 exhibitions including 33 solo artists and 34 group exhibitions.

The gallery, opened in 2008, is David's own gallery with exhibitions from selected artists.
David Lloyd 50 Year Retrospective
Exhibited on the 16th and 17th of February, and the 2nd and 3rd of March, 2013. A retrospective exhibition to celebrate David's 70th birthday, very kindly curated by some of the staff from the Waikato Museum. Includes pottery, painting, recycled wood and photography.
